Wecando Print is a full service branding company established in 2003. They specialize in printing, promotional products, embroidery, screen printing, banners, fulfillment services and company stores. Nick Mandich, COO of the Dolphins Touchdown Club says, “Wecando Print attended our luncheon a couple times, with guests from several other companies each time, and then joined us in Tampa for the Monday Night Football game, Dolphins vs. Buccaneers. We saw that there was a great fit between our organizations. We are looking forward to building equally strong relationships with Wecando’s other clients and partners as well.”

Tom Letourneau, Wecando Print’s President commented, “Our relationship with the Miami Dolphins has been a great success right from the start. All aspects of our relationship with the Dolphin’s Organization; entertaining existing clients in our suite, sharing the Dolphins Business Alliance experience with clients and new prospects and participating in the Dolphins Cycling Challenge have been personally and professionally successful. That coupled with the great business contacts and friends we have made through these experiences drove us to want to become a stronger member of the Dolphin’s family.

When the Dolphins Business Alliance Director, Patrick Sullivan, suggested we meet Nick and see what the Touchdown Club was like, we knew instantly that it would be just as beneficial as the rest of the Dolphins experiences and we are not disappointed.

We love the lunches and the chance to meet childhood heroes like Bob Greise, Don Shula, Mercury Morris, Kim Bokamper, Joe Rose and more. The Monday Night Game was a great networking event and a great time in spite of the final score. We are looking forward to participating in the fishing and golf tournaments and other Miami Dolphin Touchdown Club sponsored events. I really want to thank Patrick Sullivan for showing us the way to the Dolphins Touchdown Club and thank you, Nick Mandich, for being such a welcoming host.”

Soccer Industry Veteran Tom Mulroy Named Team President with Tim Robbie Turning Focus to Team Personnel and Stadium Development

Strikers primary outline Strikers Announce Pursuit of Soccer Specific Stadium FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Dec. 4, 2012) – Traffic Sports, the ownership group of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, has appointed Tim Robbie to the position of Managing Director of Team Personnel and Stadium Development with the task of securing a long-term home at a soccer-specific stadium in South Florida. Assuming the position of Team President will be Tom Mulroy, an industry veteran with ties to the South Florida soccer community reaching back more than 35 years.

“The success of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers requires a facility which enables the team to give the fans, sponsors and media the experience they expect in professional sports today,” said Aaron Davidson, President of Traffic Sports USA. “With the growth of the NASL and the majority of teams building, planning or recently completing expansions or renovations, adding Tom [Mulroy] to allow Tim [Robbie] to focus on this crucial phase was a natural and necessary step to ensure the Strikers achieve this goal.”

“Traffic Sports has given me a mandate to seek a permanent, first class home for the Strikers,” said Tim Robbie. “Our top priority is to work with the city of Fort Lauderdale to renovate Lockhart Stadium as part of the overall development of the area. However, we are prepared to explore any and all options for a new soccer facility in the South Florida area. Given the numerous meetings and conversations I have had on the matter, I am optimistic our efforts to find a worthy, long-term home for the Strikers will be successful.”

“It’s an honor to serve as the president of one of the most historic soccer franchises in America,” said Tom Mulroy. “It’s very exciting to become president of the club with the growth of the NASL and to have the opportunity to work side by side with Tim Robbie to fulfill this commitment of establishing a permanent home stadium for the Strikers. I am thrilled to be part of it all.”

Robbie has served as president of the Strikers since 2011, when the team tripled its average attendance from the previous year and ended the season as runners-up in the NASL Championship Series. In 1987, Robbie’s father, Joe Robbie, secured 115 million dollars in private financing to build the current home of the Miami Dolphins, Sun Life Stadium. Tim Robbie served as President of the Miami Dolphins from 1990-94 and will bring that experience to his new position within the Strikers organization.

Tom Mulroy has been with Traffic Sports since 2009 when he was hired to lead its grassroots and sponsorship activation division. This included Traffic assuming joint ownership of Copa Latina and Fiesta Cup, two of the leading Hispanic soccer tournaments in the country, which Mulroy founded more than 20 years ago. tom Strikers Announce Pursuit of Soccer Specific Stadium

Mulroy has been actively involved in Traffic’s efforts to grow the NASL and Strikers. As team president, Mulroy will assume the overall responsibilities for the club on and off the field. Mulroy is known as “Soccer Tom” in United States and international soccer circles due to his participation in soccer at all levels throughout his career. Mulroy has been a South Florida community soccer leader for the last 25 years highlighted in part by serving as a member of the 1996 Olympic Soccer Games Executive Committee, organizing the Ball Run for the 1996 Olympics soccer tournament and serving on the Miami 2018–2022 World Cup Bid Committee.

“The combination of Tim Robbie and Tom Mulroy leading the Strikers gives us one of the most experienced soccer management teams in the country,” said Davidson. “Their experience and love for South Florida, the Strikers and the sport of soccer makes them the ideal team to take the Fort Lauderdale Strikers to the next level.” Both Tom Mulroy and Tim Robbie will be available for individual media interviews today. Hello WeCanDo Print Fans!

ball300 Hello WeCanDo Print Fans! Hello Wecando Print fans.  Many of you have joined us at the Strikers games over the last two seasons and we hope that continues next year as we have had a great time with our tailgate parties and the action in the suite.

The Strikers made it to the finals last year and they are almost sure to be in the playoffs this year unless my saying that screws it up.  If so I apologize in advance.  Haha not going to happen, they will make it.

Well several things happened this year that have improved our motivation to be further involved with the Strikers next year.

1. We started an new tradition with the Boy Scouts cooking at our tailgate parties to raise money for summer camp.  They started with hamburgers and hotdogs and have introduced frito pie, steak and cheese sandwiches, shrimp on the barby and more.  It keeps getting better!  With your help and their hard work they raised enough money for some of them to go to Alaska this year.  Thank you for eating their food!

2.  Tradition number 2 and our overwhelming favorite: Yuengling on Tap!  Do I need to say more?

3.  Duffy’s Party on The Pitch!  Mark and the Girls have been great and unlimited beer while watching the game on the field can’t be beat…YET!

4.  Well on to 2013…here comes the yet part.  We are currently working it out with the Strikers to take an entire suite at each game for our friends and clients.  Wecando Print, Planned Growth, ComRes and Fritz & Franz Bierhaus our joining to take our own suite at the games.  We will keep the suite supplied with beer, wine, soda, water and snacks for our guests to have our own Party in the Suite!

While we are very excited about this, it also means that we are trading in some of our 110 seats we buy for every game as giveaways in order to make this happen, so some of our loyal tailgate fans might want to consider the Strikers season ticket package below…I strongly recommend the Duffy’s Party on The Pitch tickets.  We will still be giving away tickets but we will have much less to give, but something had to be sacrificed.   Haha.

So take advantage of the great pricing on tickets from the Strikers and register with Wecando Print on our website to win tickets to our Strikers suite and our Panther’s suit.  www.wecandoprint.com
