Thanks for the “Mammories”!
Hi there, We just wanted to take the time to personally thank you again for your participation during our 6th Annual Karting for the Kure! We truly appreciate everyone’s hard work and dedication to a cause that has affected so many in our lives.
Because of you…and your support…we are happy to report that we will be writing a much larger check this year to Memorial Breast Cancer Center!! We are continuing our fundraising efforts as we will be selling commemorative shirts, pink ribbons, Fiat tickets and more for the entire month of October and will be sure to update you with a total at the end. Our goal was to make this year bigger than years’ past and we have already done that – it can only get better!
Some highlights of the day included an impressive car show with 70+ unique vehicles on display… delicious boobie cupcakes, ice cream treats and tacos… gorgeous pin up models posing with our go kart… awesome photo opportunities… a special appearance by Dr. Carmen Calfa and her family… super bright pink hair extensions… a surprise visit from our Sheriff, Al Lamberti… a survivor lap race that was featured on the front page of the local section in the Sun-Sentinel… volunteer face painting… a wacky photo booth… 10 teams in our Endurance Lap race… great music… big raffle prizes… beautiful unique custom trophies and so many wonderful experiences for everyone that attended.
We are keeping the event online and will be posting pictures soon on facebook and our website. A special thanks to Sidney from NLPG Images for making sure to be “everywhere” and capturing so many great moments. He was with us all day long…even after the endurance race awards and buffet! And in keeping with our usual, somewhat risqué and definitely tacky salutations, we at Xtreme just want to say “Thanks for the Mammories”!
